2023 Comedy Competition

We are thrilled to announce our inaugural Yellow & Co. Comedy Competition. It will take place Memorial Day Weekend and we intend to make it an annual event. 

16 comedians will compete for 1st and 2nd place and cash prizes and a feature spot for an upcoming Comedy Show at Yellow & Co.   Each contestant will get a swag bag.

2 Nights of comedy!  

First round will be held Friday May 26th with 2 shows where 8 comedians will perform 5-8 min spots in both shows. 4 comedians from each show will advance to the final round. The final round will be Saturday May 27th where they perform 7-10 min. Each round will be judged by 3 judges and audience participation.  

• 1st place - $250 and feature spot for upcoming Comedy Show at Yellow & Co.
• 2nd place - $100 

All comedians are welcome to submit an application along with a video clip of their performance.  If selected to participate, there will be a $20 fee which is refunded at the time of the competition.  Applications must be submitted by March 31st 11:59pm cst. All applications will be reviewed over the following 7 days.  April 8th the selected comedians will be notified by email that they were selected for the competition. The comedians will need to acknowledge their participation by April 14th.  The lineup will be publicly announced the evening of Sunday April 16th.
